http://www.yumbles.com

Yumbles ran a giveaway on Facebook offering the chance to try  Raspberry Marshmallows. On the site they are £4 for 100g p&p is up to £5.50 but often less and sometimes there is free delivery. Yumbles is a market place so you are buying from in dependant producers of food and drink.

The Raspberry Marshmallows were produced by Belinda Clark. p&p is £2.60 with free delivery if you buy 3 or more packs… mmm well worth it!

The sweets were packaged well and the postage charged reflected what was paid. They would make a lovely little gift for someone I would send these as a little pick me up for someone or even a Mother’s Day treat! I will be looking at others in the range for Father’s Day ideas!

The taste? Oh My Word these were delicious! My husband and two of the boys and myself tested them and they got a HUGE thumbs up. They were light and fluffy sweet but not sickly at all and the raspberry flavour just popped on your tongue. They actually reminded me of an eaton mess flavour creamy, raspberry and a bit of sweetness thrown in. Surfice it to say I will be remembering these and gifting them ASAP.

let me know if you have tried anything from Yumbles and how you found it!

My first competition win!

Horray its here! My Wildfox top from  www.blackwhitedenim.com  it is lovely and I am wearing it as i type! Ok I won it in a facebook comp and it has arrived package in the usual plastic mail bag but inside it is wrapped in white branded tissue! EEEEEKKKKKK really who doesn’t get excited by tissue paper, not cheap stuff, gorgeous thick lovely tissue which I will reuse gladly!

http://www.blackwhitedenim.com/clothing/tops/wildfox-black-nyc-is-for-lovers.html   this is the link to my top as you can see it should have cost £70 I have NEVER spent £70 on a top! But I have to say the fabric is gorgeously soft and drapey and relaxed but not out of shape (unlike me!) It is and oversized top with fabulously long sleeves… I LOVE I have loooong arms and sleeves are always just a shade short not these! yipppeee The print is cute and solid… I have teamed it with a pair of black jeggins and underneath I have layered it with a black silky tunic and I have kept jewellery to my Pandora bracelet and my usual rings, a pair of diamonte studs and a simple chain. It already has the bold print right across the front so didnt need a statement piece! I feel relaxed and comfortable yet stylish 🙂wildfox_nyc_for_lovers_4_new  All contact with the company to organise delivery was polite and efficient so I am sure the experience would be the same if you were to purchase from them. All in all a good experience which will find me browsing their shop again.

weekend shopping :)

Last weekend i had a little girly time in Boots buying makeup just me on my own it was a little bit of heaven! lol I decided to focus on two new looks pink lippy with pink nail varnish and red lippy with, yep you guessed it, red nail varnish. I love the bright bright lipstick colours around but they would be too harsh for me so I still got a good pop of colour but its a bit more forgiving! I also love the 1950s eye liner look but again black is too harsh for me now so I just give a nod to the trend with a deep brown.

so here is my haul, make up its Boots no17 and is on offer at the moment yehaaa you know me not one to pay full price!!! Take a look

I have used both and LOVE them equally!

The gel nail colour seems to last and both lipsticks stay on well  feel glamorous even when I am just pottering at home!!

If you give any of these a try then comment and let me know your colours and thoughts. Boots has a fab offer on loads of makeup brands at the moment I stick with n017 because its afordable and ok for my sensitive skin xxx

Sosensational advertised this on their Facebook page and don’t tell mr vj but I treated myself to a couple of tops the one shown here and a lovely pink and black jumper. They arrived today I ordered Wednesday evening so quick turnaround. They come in a pretty bag then inside they were wrapped in tissue … I loved that touch 🙂 the prices were £95 for both but in their sale had been reduced to £28.50 for the two that’s £66.50 off yippeeee so with p&p my bill was £32 .

The styles are exactly as they appear on the site, and the colours were a good representation. Considering the usual price I hoped I would be getting really good quality and I am not disappointed. The fabric is a good weight and lovely and soft and each garment is finished beautifully. Very happy with my purchase and will def shop there again. But shhh don’t tell mrvj 😉

give Sosensational a ‘like’ on Facebook they do pop up with some great quality offers xxx

Manuka doctor freebie

Tried out my Manukas doctors set last night. In the box was night cream, age-defying serum, rejuvenating face mask …I used a cleanser I already have to get make up off then used the face pack I left it on for 30mins the maximum time then washed it off used the serum and the night cream. The face mask felt nice on and you dont look too scary with it on 🙂 the serum went on well and had a velvety feel on my skin finally the night cream felt thick and luxurious but not heavy. My skin felt tighter after but not like when you use soap so hoping with continued use it tightens up my sags a little… My skin this morning feels soft it doesn’t look any different but hey it’s just one night to undo a fair amount of neglect! It feels like a quality product and like it would last as you don’t need to use a lot to get coverage. Their website is http://www.manukadr.co.uk     🙂
